It’s time to dig out your Orange Caps, pile your gear in your SUV’s, and join us celebrating our Lakes and the Woods at this year’s Many Waters Fall Camporee! We will be learning about our Waters and Forests and the animals living there. There will be many displays on protecting our Resources as well as events to test your Outdoor skills.
Popular events from the past will include making Aluminum Neckerchief Slides, craving Walking Sticks and Old-time Mechanics. The Raptor Center, Fish & Game, Anti- Poaching, Water Safety, DNR Habitat Protection and more informational Displays Contests of Skill with Casting and Shooting Sports and more for competitive sorts. Don’t miss an unforgettable campfire show hosted by MC Straub Man and M.I.C., with a special appearance by Gallagher!
This awesome weekend of camping will be held at Almelund Threshing Grounds (between North Branch & Taylors Falls) September 27th-29th and is open to all Scouts and Webelos. Cubs welcome Saturday. Lunch is provided, but Saturday Night Dinner & Sunday Breakfast need to be brought and prepared by Troops.
Early registration and payment is $16.00 for each Scout , Webelos and $16.00 adult attending the Camporee. After September 23th, the registration and payment fee will be $20.00.
Cubs and Parents attending for Saturday will be $10.00.
Units are responsible for bringing health forms for all attending the Fall Camporee as well as completed permission forms for all Scouts who want to participate in shooting sports.
